Availability

We publish out-of-season rates for the cottage but that is not to suggest that Skopelos is a winter sun location. It is not. We offer the cottage beyond the extents of the commercial season for the benefit of those who wish to experience a Greek island like a local. It is a very different experience and we love it but it is not for everyone. Most of the tourist attractions (beaches, gift-shops, tavernas) are closed, the sea and the weather are distinctly chilly. We close completely from the end of November until the beginning of April because poor weather has caused us to cancel bookings in previous years.

Out of season we have a minimum stay of three nights but during the commercial season the minimum stay is a week. Most of the time we have no specific change-over day but in mid Summer change-overs are only on Fridays. It should be noted that if you are travelling via Athens or Thessaloniki you are unlikely to be able to make your entire journey in a single day and you should probably allow for an overnight stop somewhere along the way.

We do tend to book up early so if you don't see any availability for the dates you want, have a think about reserving a slot for the future. We are happy to keep a list for first refusal when we publish our rates for the next year ahead. We offer 14 nights for the price of 13 because a single week is never enough. We take a 25% deposit to secure the booking and the balance becomes payable four weeks prior to arrival.
